Description
Nathalie Haussmann pays tribute to her great great uncle, Baron Haussmann, known for his work on Parisian architecture but also a wine enthusiast. The history of By Haussmann begins by the mediterranean sea, in the Pays d’Oc.
Driven by a desire to discover other wine regions and grape varieties, Nathalie Haussmann created By Haussmann, a range of single grape variety of Pays d’Oc, whose elegance and character take you on a journey to the heart of this sun-drenched wine region. Nathalie Haussmann offers an elegant, moreish wine showing archetypal Languedoc varietal character, labelled as a ‘owned grower’.
Nature of soils: Clay-limestone. Grape varieties: Chardonnay. Vinification : Early variety, it is vinified at a low temperature after direct pressing and delicate decanting. It is then aged on lees to develop roundness and aromatic complexity.
This wine presents a beautiful light yellow colour. Its very floral nose gives way to lovely nutty notes. On the palate, a beautiful roundness and a complex aromatic richness give this Chardonnay a beautiful freshness.
Enjoyable at all times. Will be appreciated both as an aperitif and on grilled fish (monkfish, salmon), shellfish or hard cheeses.
